hello all,
i have a 95 maxima.i bought it when it had 85 k miles in march .now it has 97k miles. i have not needed any major work on it even after atrip from tx to sfo,cal and back.

since 4 weeks i have the check engined light on. i have posted abt this several times.i got myu battery replaced.and the light stayed on. it went off when i put it off manually.now it comes on and off while driving. when i shut the car and start it back immediately , it does not come back on. hence i cant chcekc the code.

sometimes it comes on wheile driving.sometimes it goes off whil driving. im not sure what is going on.

i plan to do some maintenance on my car. i need to rev up my car in the mornning and evening when i go back home from work. some basic test at NTB told me my alternator was bad.

since ihavenot donr any maintenance in 12k miles and i dont know when the prev owner did anything., i plan to get maintenance.
pls advice what kind of maintenance i need to do. full or partial.
and what shud be covered.
im in dallas , texas.so whats a good dealer to get it done at.im
getting full maitnenace for 350$ at don davis in arlington.
and 400$ at courtesy.the latter does not include replacing spark plugs and chargefg 60$ more.
don davis has it incliuded..

Open the owner's manual and look at the service schedule. Do what it says. BTW, if you do not have one, you can order it from Nissan at 1(800)NISSAN1
