did my cv boots
did my cv boots
well, just changed my inner and outer cv boots today. it was not too bad a process. did have to go buy a bench vise though because we couldnt find ours anywhere. the joints were in very good condition but next time i have to change them, i'll just put in new axles since they'll have around 200k on them hopefully. cost me 40 bucks to do both axles, so pretty cheap.
next thing i'll do is go back to oem brake pads because semi metallic on this car are horribly loud. after that. This car is great, so far no major problems. All i've had to do to it is replace the clutch and the outer boots (i did the inner ones just because they looked a little old) and everything else just normal maintenance. Hopefully i'll have the rest of my sounds in by next month.
