New suspension, problems already...

I just placed Illumina Shocks into my car along with Tokico springs that gave it more of a drop then i planned heh. But the car looks and drives good, but i began noticing that when i hit a bumb on the road some of the shocks make loud noises as they are banging against something, but it drives smoothly and quietly everywhere else. Anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this?

Either springs banging on your fenders, look for marks inside of wheelwell or strut mounts or bearings not seated properly? Is noise from front or rear?

The noise is from the front, most of the time the passenger's side.

Probably didn't put the rubber insulator boots on the springs and when they compress over bumps they make the clanking sound.

0.o Actually I didn't because they were all old and ****ed up. Didn't even think about that, can I get that at any part store or do i have to order it specially? Thanks for the help man, truly appreciate it. And its not hurting the suspension by making the noise right? Just want to make sure I don't screw it up before i put on the insulator boots.

It's not hurting the suspension, but you'll just have to deal with the sound.

And you just fukked yourself by not putting it on during the install, because now you have to take ALL that **** apart, springs, shocks and all just to put those insulators back on.

Great way to spend 2 to 3 hours

Yeah but my friend did it and he's done a few suspensions. It was my first time so I didn't really question him, so really he ****ed himself over because hes going to have to take them all off now and redo them lol.
