Hi all,

Just bought a 97 SE/Auto and glad to see there's a big Maxima following. My previous ride was a 94 Taurus SHO and I can say that the Max is a far better machine in every respect.

Sorry for the newbie ignorance, but what are the hot modificatiosn for this car? What's this "Quaife" thing I;ve been reading about?

Anyway, any comments would be helpful.

Thanks!

Welcome newbies and ...

the quaife is a limited slip differential that is going to fabricated for the maxima. I believe it's only available for 5spds.? It's being sponsored by a small tuner in Az called cattman performance....www.cattmanperformance.com, check it out for other mods as well as the faq on maxima.org

Again, welcome.
