Y-pipe installatio guide (dont hurt me, plz!!)

all the .org links are broken in the how to section and such. google turned up nothing.

im pretty sure i know everything, but: what special tools do i need besides common sockets and an o2 socket. what size crush rings are needed?

a link to a guide or an equipment list would be infinitely helpful as i plan on installing today and doing a butt dyno test.

If you'd read the site announcements, you'd see how to view old links... http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=537445

It's not a crush ring, it's a multi-layer metal. OEM ftmfw, they're cheap enough and much better quality, and most nissan dealers have them in stock. Use a propane torch to heat all the y-pipe to manifold bolts up, every once in awhile they snap, more so on the rear, and then it's a biotch to deal with, so always use heat.

Really? When I got mine at the dealer they called it a crush ring gasket. Now, I'm sure the dealer could've been wrong, they have been before, but I've always heard people refer to them as Crush ring gaskets.

Y-manifold are crush rings, all other exhaust connections are two bolt multi layer gaskets.
