What's it called? Again...

I asked this a while ago, but the search is returning a bad thread address for my question.

The jack point on my 96 has a flange sticking down. I used to have a plastic block with a couple of slots in the top, that sat on top of the floor jack and fit over the flange. It disappeared. What's it called?

ii donno, look on some tool website or something. its just a block of rubber/plastic like you said. what does this have to do with 4th gens?

btw there is a FAQ about how to get to the thread if the link takes you somewhere else. something like changing "showthread" to "oldthread" in the URL.

chillin--

The FAQ trick didn't work (the thread used "display" instead of "show"), but that's useful to know. Thanks. (I posted here because I know my 4th gen has the flange. I don't know about any other years.)

All passenger vehicles (unibody, at least, full frame vehicles don't) have pinch welds for lifting the car up, since probably the early 80's.
