How are we supposed to tell you what you should do to it? I really don't get these damn threads, apparently no one has a mind of their own and need everyone else to suggest each individual mod.

Have you looked around the site at all? I don't even want to see what your previous 16 posts look like... Google, eBay will both find you kits for the Maxima, as well as a lot of other stuff, like performance.

You want to be faster? Faster as in, in autocross? quarter mile? street racing?

Most young kids' first cars end up totaled anyway. Save the money for modifying it for the second car, as most likely this one won't be around for all too long.

You know, I hate being an a$$ to new guys but this is another obvious thread that you didn't search for anything at all. You didn't look through the site, click on stickies, or investigate anything on your own. The worst thing you can do on here IMO is to ask people what you should do. You have a mind of your own, pick an idea you want and start looking. Go into member rides forum and take a look at some 4th gens. See what you like, try to find their cardomains and information they have about their car. I don't understand how you posted your own thread already with this question too. Most have posted some random crap in other threads ha. You need to figure out what you want, as pmohr said, like auto-x? Street? Drag? What are you looking for? There is way too much to do to the car so you need to figure out a goal and go from there. Sorry bout this but I think it should be locked so you do some of the research and figure things out. Then ask more specific questions when needed. Good luck.

:edit: the 115 comment isn't necessary. We've all gotten our cars up fast...saying you did it isn't cool

thats exactly why i said dont modify it. your already doing reckless sh*t. when i first got my car I was so happy to HAVE a car I was babying it for a long while.

dont waste your money on the car just because you want to top it out on public streets.

put a stereo or something in it.

True cold air intake and exhaust (to include y-pipe).

Anything cosmetic is personal opinion. IMO, (assuming maintenance is up to date), wheels make a car stand out.

Search, Search, Search. There are so many different styles and mods you could go with. you'll have to find what fits your taste and budget.
