I swapped for another 97-99 trunkld for my 95-96..

I have a 95-96 maxima..
previously, I had put on a 97-99 SE trunk lid.. it was working no problem..
now I've changed the SE trunk lid for an ES ( NO wing).. it works and all except for the power trunk feature.. whenever I go press the power trunk release, the actuator moves, but only to either be blocked by the trunk hinge or not enough power to fully open the trunk..

anyone have issues lke this after swapping trunks?

Thanks,
KL

Yea, I think I've had that problem. What you need to do is swap the latch thats on the trunk lid. Did you swap the trunk locks?

I swapped the lock to my OEM one so I can use the key..
I swapped the lock latch off my 9-96 trunk and put it on the 97-99 lid, but still the same problem..

try aligning your latch assembly.
