dek swap question

dek swap question

ok i have a question...as u probly know from my other post i am doing a dek swap...i just got the motor 40k miles great condish....now im wondering if i need to use the evap and vacuum **** on the back of the intake manifold..now this is just a simple question please dont post bs remarks

Need to use it as in...for the motor to run?
Need to use the parts from your old motor to avoid CELs?
Need to use them to stay legal?

They aren't required for the motor to run, but then again a lot of stuff that's there isn't.

What 'vacuum ****'? Vacuum to the brake booster, FPR, and EGR? Those are needed (well at least the first two, the third not so much).

yeah cause there is like vacumm every where im like wtf i aint usin all this **** hahah...thanks alot bro for the help man...another question...the iacv on the dek is built into the tb correct?

yeah thats because the engine needs correct vacuum to run. You need to vacuum everything that needs vacuum or block it off. Should know this if you're swapping already...
