I've had this problem for sometime now and I'm just really dumbfounded. The car stutters when the gas pedal is pressed about a 1/3 of the way, in any gear. It stutters again at about 2/3 and jerks like crazy under WOT. Now I can generally drive it somewhat normally if I avoid those "areas" in the gas pedal (press harder/quicker to surpass the first 1/3, then try to stay between 1/3 and 2/3). Needless to say it's pretty retarded and is getting quite annoying. When in neutral I can rev the car no problem with no stuttering/hesitation. So far I've:


Changed all 6 ignition coils
6 new spark plugs
Changed a bad 02 sensor
Changed the MAF sensor
Changed the TPS

Nothing has worked so far and I'm out of ideas. I thought for sure the TPS might be the culprit but the problem was still there after.

I was also getting an engine misfire code so I changed the ignition coils and spark plugs. Misfire went away but problem remained.
