Need help with newer car info...
Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a new car for my wife. I'm keeping the Max, and she really wants an '05 Altima. It's got the 2.5L in it. Do you guys know of any problems with the 4cyl Altimas? (I realize this is a Maxima enthusiast site)
Anyway...does anyone have the ability to run a CARFAX report? If so, great!
Here's the VIN:
1N4AL11D25N455595
THANKS SO MUCH!

I have read 'hearsay' about problems with the newer 2.5 Altima's, but they could be false. So I do not want to reciprocate without knowing they are facts.
As for a Carfax, your should try posting in a different section (General Discussion) asking about it in the title. You may get better results, also on the Altima (?) too. I would do it for you but I do not have an account either, sorry.

From what I've read, going with the 4 instead of the 6 cyl is not worth it. Can find the thread but some one said that you'll b lacking performance with the 4 and not saving much gas (Altima's heavy). Just compare the MPG's on both motors to confirm if it's trully worth it to go with the 4 cyl. Besides the VQ's rep is solid-->good luck
