'99 center dash hardware removal question

I'm sure this has probably been covered a thousand times already but I tried to find tips on the stickies and couldn't find it exactly. As you should know this starts from the top with 2 a'c vents then clock, a/c control, and radio controls. I'm trying to get my bose unit out without screwing anything up. I used a thin butter knife and gently pried at every gap around the entire area. To me it seemed to damn sturdy for me to use any more pressure anywhere without snappin the **** outta somethin. I had the most success up top near the vents. Thinking maybe get those out then work all the way down? Any suggestions? Tell me

The vent are in like a b*tch. I normally grab with my thumbs at the clock and my fingers in the bottom of the vents, then it pulls straight out, and slightly upward. The big piece that holds the climate, bose, and pockets are screwed in a the top and bottom. The shifter trim pulls up from the back, then it's loose. The ashtray has a clip on the left side and a screw on the right side...I think. It may be the other way around with the screw of the left side. There is only one screw however, and it's kinda hard to see. After that, there are two screws at the top and two at the bottom of the big main piece. Of course, unhook all of the wiring harnesses.

no need for instructions..the instructions are just going to add some pictures that show you where all the screws are located..Slickismax covered everything that needs to be removed to remove the Head unit. On the AC vent take a small flathead screwdriver and pry at the side on both sides..BE very careful when pulling the ac vents out because there are two small plastic clips that can snap or bend very easily and then you wont have anything to be secured on the bottom of the A/C vent piece. Just pull straight out when you have the Piece pried out a bit...The AC vents and the clock are one piece BTW.
