I don't know if this is a major problem or what but... here goes:

whenever I have my headlights on, I can notice that whenever i press the brakes, the headlight dims a little bit for a split second. pretty much every time?

is this normal?

Take your car to a local auto parts store that does the free diagnostic on batteries/charging systems and have them hook it up.

 

I'm guessing bad grounds is a problem.
