Its the little 2 wire sensor that goes on your stock intake box with 2 gold screws. Honestly just go to the junkyard and find one out of a 90 up Nissan.

For the Maxima 98, my IAT was located on the black air scoop tube under the intake. My Haynes manual stated that it was on the intake box but it wasnt. Check out this thread here:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=541867&page=2

On page two, the last few posts I posted pics of where the IAT is.

Checked auto zone's website and they have it as "Air Charge Temperature Sensor" and they run from $28.88-$73.99. Here is a part no for the cheapester one, 77919067, hopes this helps.

If you don't know what it is and where it's located, then chances are you forgot to reinstall it when you put your OEM setup back on.

Hey man, i'm having an IAT problem too. that intake u sold me was for the 95-97 max and i have the 98 so the place where the IAT is supposed to go is different. I need to buy the sensor off an older max to get it to work on the intake now. You can buy them on the courtesyparts website for like 53 bucks or look around on the classifieds and/or junkyards.

I can guarantee, if you have an A32 then you have (or had at one time, maybe it was removed) an IAT sensor.

The one discussed above is the 95-96 sensor, yours is the 97-99 style. Regardless, you do have one.
