cone air fillter on stock intake?

cone air fillter on stock intake?

i was conversing with a friend & he was explaining how u can put a cone fillter on the stock intake is this possible? it might be a stupid question to some of you super mechanics

Yes... Either get a MAF adapter and the filter bolts right on. Or there is a ghetto way of attaching it to the "velocity stack" on the inside of the stock intake. This is illustrated in the stickies.

That should work. It's a filter for a 3" pipe basically.

Its called a pop charger set up. Very easy to do. All you need is a rachet set. If you're down to come to brooklyn, I could put it on for you. Good luck

basically u just take up the stock one put the MAf adopter and put the filter onto that . right ? what about the sensor u just left it hanging like the guy from that thread?
