DBM, its been a pleasure to learn from you and to have a good laugh at your humor, All I can say is thank you and that I hope those personal situations amend themselves quickly and decisively. If anything, when you need to escape, hop in your Maxima and escape the world for awhile.
once again, thanks and God bless

Daniel B. Martin, where ever you are, thank you. You have been a calming influence on this board. You have shown many how the modest investment in tools and manuals can avoid those dreaded trip to the dealership. You are a true role model and will be missed. I wish you well and do hope you find time to come back and visit.

Best regards.

Say it isn't so... wow...

I have read many posts from many people on this board, and i was always impressed by your level of professionalism in your questions.

hell even though i don't know you probably as well as some of the other people here... since i only joined not too long ago. Heck even i am going to miss you on this forum...

Good luck with what you have to do... i'm pretty sure i can easily say that everyone in this forum (well maybe mostly the 4th gen)
will miss you

Take care,

Frank

You will be missed

I sold my Maxima a little over a month ago but still log on to read Daniel's messages. With all the flame wars that transpired over technical issues, Daniel has always been consistant in his behavior and responses. People burn out at times but having this much support should help if he diecides to return.

I don't know if you have checked in to read the posts so I hope that the members that know Daniel personally can pass on all our well wishes.

Take care.

Dear Daniel-

Thanks for all the help that you've given. I only wish all boards had someone like you, not full of bull, willing to pursue the real answers, and able to keep calm and not hot headed.

It's interesting to see everyone asking for more info as you used to do everytime anyone has a question, you've definitely left your mark/legacy! And one thing I've always learned from this forum and you is to be able to back up what you say ...

It is kinda funny too see alot of people turning out for this post agreeing about everything said here. It is a good thing but I just can not remember the last time I saw a 5 or 6 page post without anyone dissagreeing. It is good that this post was not ruined by flames in our saying good bye to DBM.

You guys are just assuming that he's going through hard times or something, maybe (and hopefully) he got a 3-million dollar job somewhere and is very extremely busy with it.

Re: Goodbye for a while ...

The very reason that got me started on these boards is now gone. You spoke of cars, mostly a single 4th gen car and yet you were adored, praised, and honored by so many...I can only imagine what type of person you are beyond just text.

Goodbye and thanks. You will be sorely missed.
