Custom Steering Wheel Column Gauge Pod

So as some of you know i'm supercharging my car. Or as some of you know it might be done HINT HINT lol. So i wanted to mount my boost gauge on my steering wheel cause my triple gauge pod didn't have space. Since i mounted my voltage gauge, fuel pressure, and wideband a/f gauge. I was gonna mount it in my ash tray but im mounting my Safc there. So i looked at a few pictures online and brainstormed some stuff down. Making my own pod. So i went to home depot and purchased about a foot long off 2" pvc piping, some black spray paint, some black cloth light duck tape feels like carbon fiber lol, a 2" Galv clip, some small black screws, and a can of clear coat. Now for the pictures. ( Pod isnt 100 percent down im flush mount it a lil bit more when its not freezing cold outside)

Beats paying $20 for a gauge pod lol Compared to under $4 @ home depot

2" Galv Clip to hold pvc piping into place on the steering column

Auto-Meter Sport Comp Boost/Vac Gauge

I started by cutting the pvc piping after i measured how much I would need for the gauge and how much i would need to clear the column. Cut about 3 1/2 inch's not exact but around there

Then i took the Galv Clip and started to wrap the carbon fiber feel like tape around it.

Onto the car now. Taking everything apart, the black bezel around the gauge cluster, bottom steering wheel cover, top of steering wheel column

The mess on the passenger seat

Doing fitment inside my house for the pod on the steering column

Side angle of the mock-up before final bolt down

Fitting the top steering column with the gauge mounted back in the car

And here I was hoping you were just a hardcore racer and knew enough to say screw asthetics and instead purposely tilted it so that max boost is in a straight vertical line for easy reading........
