whats going on?! feeling weird after FSTB install
Something is really weird! Before I installed the FSTB, I was handling really good through corners, etc. I have a '98 GXE with rims, Eibach springs and KYB shocks. And before the FSTB, I would rarely screech my tires when turning sharp around corners and stuff, but after the install, I feel that I have more roll, and my tires seem to screech easier. For example, I was able to take this turn at 30mph with no problem, but now when I go just about 20mph, my tires start sreeching! My tires are brand new, only about 3000miles on them, and I didnt abuse them when they were just bought. I have the Michelin MXV4, and I know, they arent the greatest, but they held up pretty good until I put in the FSTB. I installed it correctly, on a level surface. But I dont know whats going on!

Re: Maybe they are over inflated?
go back and check ALL your bolts, make sure they arent overtightened or undertightened, maybe you are driving differently bc of it, thats a mental thing, if it doesnt gt any better, just take it off and see the comparison

FSTB
When I had mine, I noticed right away that I felt the road more decisevely. The purpose of the bar is to eliminate the flex that exists with Unibody cars. By installing the bar, you have removed the "forgiving" nature of the suspension putting more responsibility to hold the road on the tires.
If I remember correctly, the model Michelin tire that you are using is rated very well for tread wear because it is a harder compound tire. With that tire, it has a lower speed rating for that reason which also means it will grip the road a little less than the softer tires like the Pirellis, Scorpions, and other Michelins such as Pilot XGTH4. Check out the Michelin web page ( www.michelin-us.com )and search for more information there. They actually have pretty good information about tires in general.
