What is wrong here

I have noticed that my car fishtails a bit when i hit like a bump in the road. Its nothing severe but definitely noticeable. I have also noticed this happening more especially while making a turn, the rear end will shift a little as if i was drifting(i know im not drifting or even going fast). But it just seems like my rear doesnt grab the road after a bump. What could this be?

Struts are bad. I think that's the what causes this...

Take it in to a mechanic and have him look over your suspension. Could be bad bushings too, and I hear they are a pain to do.

Check tire pressure. You'd be surprised what under/overinflated tires can do.
I had a low rear tire once, and it slid bad enough it was hard to drive quickly.

are you dropped? or stock height?
with the "trailing arm" suspension ( the beam between the rear wheel), the feeling of the rear sliding out should be very minimal..

If it's your shocks get them fixed before it starts snowing. You don't wanna be fishtailn with snow on the ground.

Your handling mods? Do you have a aftermarket shocks/spring and or rear sway bar? That would help to narrow down the problem

Could be poor tires too ... but I'd suspect struts
