Courtesy Nissan Fog Lights

I'm sure some of you guys saw the fog light kit that courtesy nissan sells on their site. So I bought them and installed them and they look great except they do have some quirks.

The biggest thing is they don't fit flush to the bumper, there is a small gap across the top of the foglights. Also cutting those tabs was the scariest thing I've ever had to do lol one bad move can send that razor knife slashing your bumper.

They do look great though, increased light output, definetly makes the car look more aggressive at night. I do have a couple of questions though. For the guys that put HID's in there did you guys use a full H3 kit or an H3 mini kit? Cause the bulbs in these are H3 mini. Is that the way with factory installed foglights as well?

Install on these should take 45 mins IF you have a good set of tools. All I had was a cheap taiwanese set and the everything was either a little too small or a little too big so I had to get creative with the pliers. So if anyone is thinking about this kit just know that they don't fit super flush like factory.

Also if anyone has any pics of the hid bulbs they used to fit in their foglights that would be great too!

Yep those are it! They are factory but they don't fit flush to the bumper there is probably a 3mm gap between the top of the foglight to the bumper.

I've never heard of an H3 mini. Sounds like a name someone came up with due to their small size.

i guess some in some applications the fog light housing is too shallow. i'm not 100% sure, but i think these only became available within the last couple years.

Those yellow fogs are all over ebay also. They would probably not fit flush like the courtesy fog lights.

Wow, Good find. These may or may not be similar to the ones that were on eBay a year back. They were available for awhile then they were pulled off probably 6-8 months ago (?) and haven't been seen since (when I was hunting for fogs these were on the top of the list). I might have to pick these up, but for $50 quality is certainly a question.

It seems like this kit is worth it because it comes with the headlight/turnsignal/fog stalk AND relay which does not come with the ebay lights. Sounds like a great buy, but post up some pics!!
