New front shocks...
Just installed a new set of KYB GR2s and new KYB strut mounts. Installation went smooth since I found and printed a few articles from this site. The most time consuming time was spent wrestling with the spring compressor so it wouldn't interfere with the top spring cap. Air tools are a definite must!!!! After everything was replaced, the spring wrapping noise disappeared. Just had the front end aligned. The mechanic said that it wasn't too far out of alignment. I must say, car drives ALOT better!!!

Congrats! Suspension is definitely the most rewarding upgrade, IMO.
Spring compressors are fun, aren't they? I used a ratchet for the passenger's side spring compressor and it took me a good 4 hours. Discovered we had an impact gun downstairs and the driver's side took an hour and a half.

I did my front shocks with tokico illuminas and the red tokico lowering springs and I here a clanking noise and I feel that the spring is not being held tight enough so there is a clanking noise like its loose. Not loose enough to come off but loose enough to make a clattering noise. Anybody had this problem. Also I have all the necessary bump stops and boots and parts. It is that the spring compressor was not needed and so I feel that the springs are like too short but I like the ride height I just do not like the noise.???
i did my front & rears with KYB GR2's and eibach springs did my strut mounts and strut mount bearings on all 4 i did the ES bushings in the whole control change control arm and EVERYTHING car feels great and handles beautiful no body roll nd i mean NO BODY ROLL bcuz of the rear sway nd rear strut bar nd car strut bar with the Sub frame connectors Stage 1 through 3 and the lower tie rod feels crazy good
i was advised to do inner and outer tie rods, end links bushings of front sway bar and lower ball joint I wonder how much at the dealer or where can I have it done because I do not have the tools and garage anymore.

What else could be loose that would cause some noise when driving over a bumpy road??
