Faded door pillars(?)

Don't know if I'm using the right terminology here but you know the black part of the doors, between the front and rear door. Anyway, I know I'm not the only one out there where this part is fading. I was thinking about buying some gloss black paint and spraying over it. Has anyone remedied this a different way?

do a search
the black fading door pillars is really black tape/tint. You can take this off. Under the tape is your cars body color. Mine was green so it looks fine but if you have a light colored car you can buy some black or carbon fiber film and recover the area

Was I the first person to find out about the whole body colored thing? Just curious because that post I made seemed to live on forever.

My bad!

Funny, I'm usually the type that does search for such things. I guess I assumed and you know what happens when you assume...

Thanks!
