Hi,

I was curious to whether or not anyone has experienced this problem and didn't mind commenting on how they fixed it. I read the write up on motorvate
http://www.motorvate.ca/mvp.php/802 for the Maxima Slave Cylinder Hose Replacement and he said he replaced the hose that connects the master to the slave.

I noticed there were a few different clutch hoses on http://catalog.nissanpartswholesale.com/, one from an outlet pipe to lower hose:

and then this one which runs from upper hose to slave:

I'm assuming when he talks about the $60 hose he is referring to the one that runs from the upper hose to the slave but was wondering if anyone could clarify this being the one he replaced.

ANy input is appreciated.

See which one looks like its weeping oil and replace it

Most likely its the one from the slave cylinder. I think that runs like $75 from Nissan

go get the ss line from the group deal, but make sure you specify you want the complete line. for only $40 you'll replace both of those hoses.

Do what dralucard suggested, you'll end up saving time just doing the whole line rather than trying to diagnose one hose or the other...

Didn't even know a straight ss line/hose existed for the maxima clutch hydraulics. Where did you guys get it? I checked the group deals, having a hard time finding one of these, where else could I find one?
