Cold Start issues and hesitation
Well the problem im having just arose this winter. I guess it never got cold enough for the car to do it before, so now im starting to notice it. When the car has been sitting over night, when i start it in the morning the revs go up to about 1500rpm, then drop and the car stalls, i have to start it then blip and hold the throttle for a second or so then its fine. At work the car is parked for about 6-7 hours when i start it then its fine.
I *think* i cleaned my IACV awhile ago and i dont know if that was the problem, i think i cleaned it when i had it off to re-do my egr guide tube gasket but i cant remember for sure if i cleaned it, i know i had the main plunger off, but thats all i didnt take the pink or purple one out. I noticed my idle was kinda unstable and high, so i re-cleaned my IACV, removed all 3 plungers cleaned them and put it back on and drpped the idle to about 700rpm..it was idling way to high before, 850-900 when warm lol. For some reaosn it never even occured to me it was so high.
the issue is more of an annoyance, i am tending to lean towards the IACV. But what are the chances it could be something like a leaky injector? There are no codes but i do notice the car feels sluggish and the exhaust seems to have more burbling then before and is almost bordering on backfiring lol.
Also the gas mileage is worse then normal, and it just doesnt quite feel all there. I Noticed more or less recently when i put my foot down in the lower rpm never noticed it in first but any other gear at around 2000-2500rpm theres a slight hesistation then it goes, sometimes it hesitates for half a second then goes, sometimes it doesnt. Also if i go full throttle in any gear it kinda hiccups then goes, i guess kinda a hesitation then goes.
I really dont think it could be my spark plugs as they are not even that old..about 40,000kms and are NGK PFR5G-11, the coilpacks i presume could be a problem, although with no definitive way of testing them under load, id rather not spend 300$ on a set and find out they were okay. So far ive cleaned my IACV, throttle body, Intake manifold is clean, LIM is clean, ECTS was replaced, knock sensor is good. Other then that the plugs are about 40,000KMS old, and the engine has 312,000kms, and i dont have records of the coil packs ever being replaced. Same goes with injectors, this motor is pretty much all original.
Thanks guys!

Mine does the same, I'm assuming it's because I removed the whole FIC system a long while back. Weird thing is it does it randomly, some days it only sits for ~12 hours and does it, other days it sits for ~20 or so and doesn't...
