So far the only place to get headers was from a company in New Zealand, and Emax95 (Ethan) is the only one who has gotten them so far, for around $4-500 I THINK (don't quote me). The dyno numbers were not impressive, not really anymore than a normal Y-pipe. A N/A Max doesn't really respond to headers. Maybe S/C or Custom Turbo, otherwise stick with a Y-pipe.

They do exist. Pay attention next time before misinforming people. Price was around $600 or so shipped from NZ. Ethan got them, didn't dyno any higher than an aftermarket Y-Pipe. But if you have a SC, lots of NOS, etc. they will help. I just may get a set down the road.

Heres a pic of them,

These headers are very high quility from what I have seen so far, the fitment is superb. My dyno showed a 9.1 HP and 8.5 TQ gain. Which is about the same as a Y-Pipe, however I did have 2 decent size exaust leaks when I dynoed the headers so I think I could have easaly lost 5-10 HP/TQ right there. I have been thinken about dynoing one more time before I ditch the car, maybe I will do it tomarrow or friday.

that's cool

nz eh? you said fitment wasnt an issue but you mentioned that you had two leaks. What did that come from? Also, if you have any mods on your car *blower* it can make a big difference.

Ya, I use to have a "blower" . The 2 leaks were from the bolts not being tigtened properly, the gaskets did not set properly. It only took about 10 minutes to fix the leaks so no biggy.

I didnt even think they got as high as 9 HP on the dyno. I thought it hit somewhere around like 4 HP that was when I decided it was not worth it.

Not hating. You're the one hating. Talking trash on Hondas and then telling people information that's not true. I'd hate for people to get the wrong idea about something because you don't know what you're talking about. I was merely setting the facts straight. Headers do exist. They're not necessary if you're not spraying or boosting, but if you are, then the factory Maxima exhaust manifolds (they're not headers BTW) may not be sufficient.
