Do I need an o2 sensor

I need a new O2 sensor behind my cat on the b-pipe. I'm just wondering if I need it, b/c right now it's off the car and it runs fine. I was getting my GReddy installed and that sensor was stripped.

Depending on where you beat him, he might like it lol

No, you don't need the sensor but the check engine light will probably stay on forawhile

so the sensor in the cat or behind it doesn't actually do a thing for the running of the engine?

when I took it out, the engine light went bizzare for the first run then was fine.
