CLUTCH OR SLAVE

CLUTCH OR SLAVE

I press the pedal put it in first and nothing was slipping the other day now wont move the fluid is a little low ( just under the min line all help welcome
for any one who just whats to be a **** so be it thanks to any one else

Press/depress the clutch many times (50) and check the clutch level again. It could be your rubber hose leaking or the slave is gone. You can also have someone press the clutch and you look for any fluid leaking right by the tranny (where the slave and rubber hose attach). Does the clutch feel normal or losing pressure?

pedal pressure is fine now but the other day it was kinda funky checked for leaks couldnt find one

forgot to metion i had to start it in gear to get it home not that far and when it started slipping i could smell clutch

It's cheap & easy to rebuild both. Well, reinstalling the master can be difficult. + one on the lower line. And don't forget there is TWO bleeders.

One day my res was empty. Had to pump the clutch to get it to work. Filled it then Bled it and nevertouched it since. Work great last long time

The clutch slave does fail from time to time on these cars.

Unbolt the slave - is there fluid leaking from it? Is there fluid leaking from the line?

(If you need one, I have a slave with clutch line and dr. side motor mount that I'll sell cheap - PM me)

no fluid leaking any where that i could see burnt clutch smell when drove it last now i can put it in 1st gear and release clutch and the car just idle does not shut off and wont move just rev

i think you either have a smalllllllllllll leak or try bleeding the lines.

Well I was trying to be short and to the point. Sorry it took YOU so long to read it! I guess some things are easier for others, but thanks anyway I am just surprized its only you later ****.

It IS incredibly hard to read. Capital letters, commas, and periods don't take any more time once you get into the habit.

It was the clutch, I will try and post some pics of whats left of the old one
got a pretty good deal on the install. $450.00 I had my own parts new clutch and flywheel
