This is the second dumb **** thread about an installed Y-Pipe when it has been beaten to death that the Y-Pipe has benefits.

You really shouldn't post threads about your new car parts and how pleased you are with them. I'm glad you are proud of your new Y-Pipe and I'm also happy to hear that it was installed correctly, but people don't take kindly to these types of threads in the 4th gen forums.

I'm sorry about all the people who like to flame to either be funny or look smart, but that's just the way things are.(Although Kzoosho's post was pretty funny.) If you all don't support threads like these, why are you constantly flaming him? You are only bumping it up anyways. Someone just needs to tell him what's up and then we can all let it be.

stock y = quiet, smooth exhaust
aftermarket y = "loud", rough exhaust

I can't say my car is any louder with the aftermarket Y, I would check for leaks.

You should be proud, because threads get locked in the 4th gen forum all the time

That exact same thing happened to me! Happened at 12:30 at night, not even speeding!

Congrats on the new mod. If your exhaust is loud enough that you got a ticket then you have a leak. My y-pipe made my exhaust have a little more rumble to it but thats it.
