help cant shut trunk lid!

I have a cf trunk lid and my battery died so I had to use the emerengcy pull wire I have inside the car and now my trunk lid wont shut, the latch seems to work fine and the pull wire is no pulling on it to keep it open, any ideas, I had the problem when I first installed the cf trunk lid.

thanks

Brandon

If its the same as oem mechanism then on the part thats inside the trunk there is a little switch/lever that you can pull/push i think

let me guess, thousands of dollars of audio is at stake here ;-)

might just need to adjust the latch assembly, although i don't know what would have caused it.

On the lip below the trunk opening, the latch mechanism is held tight with 2 bolts. You can adjust the latch position after loosening these two bolts. Try the top position first and make sure the trunk can latch. Then gradually move down the latch.

My trunk had always been hard to close even when it was new.
