how to install an oem cd/tape audio head unit on a 98 max?

ok, i read the faq's and all that stuff about read this first. well, i can't search even though i have 24 posts and i can't look up my previous posts for some strange reason that privilege has been locked. i've been looking for the past 2 hours about where to find the instructions with the pictures i found about a year ago when i tried to do this myself because i have to do it, yet again. but since it's not so easily found on this website as before i must post this thread. PLEASE SOMEONE FIND THE THREAD ABOUT HOW TO INSTALL AN OEM AUDIO HEAD UNIT ON A 1998 GXE MAXIMA. I know the first few steps from memory of the last time i did it but i need that detailed info on exactly what to do and how to remove the housing and what not. help?..goddd i'm tired/frustrated..

here is some info on how to remove the center of the console. from there it is pretty simple, then reverse to put it all together

to search you have to donate, looking up threads of your own uses the search function, thus you have to pay for it.

That look's about right.

Remove the clock/vent and unplug the 3 plugs. (Hazard, Clock, Defrost)
Remove trim around shifter. Put gear in neutral. It should pop up and out.
Remove ash tray (held in by 1 phillips screw)
Remove 4 bolts/screw holding the center console part.
Everything should come out by now minus unplugging more harnesses.

It shouldn't be too hard now. You'll see the cage it's suppose to go in. Should be fairly easy from here.

Reverse steps.
