Bad FPR, posisble from being upside down?
During the 00vi swap, we flipped the FPR upside down for an extended period of time, with fuel in it. We basically flipped the rails towards the battery for LIM access. Could this possibly damage the Fuel pressure regulator? Its got 90K miles on it.
And what about injectors? Can they be damaged from being upside down unplugged?
Just checking cause I am dumping fuel like its no tomorrow...

sounds like a FPR, but I don't see how it being upside down would hurt it. As for injectors, it could be a seal or improper seating, but all it is really is a micro jet that is activated by electric impulse - so I don't see how it being upside down would hurt it either.
It's possible that you cracked a hose or one slid loose when you moved the fule rail. I'd check that too ...
I did have a FPR go bad on me, always smelt gas, HORRIBLE mpg's and the risk of fire made me find and fix it quickly! lol
G'luck
