Your wheel will fall off like it did before.

You'll destroy the whole spindle.

What are the signs of a bad wheel bearing? I have a Vibration I can feel that only occurs at certain speeds. For example if I'm on the turnpike traveling 80 I have this constant vibration I can feel in the steering wheel and gas pedal, however if I increase speed a few mph the vibration goes away.

Could this be a bearing? or something else like tires out of balance?

I'd say, balance your tires first. Get an allignment as well. Hopefully the vibration will be gone after that. If not, then brace yourself for a suspension re-build. (Of course it could be a bad tire or two/bent rim)

wheel bearings dont vibrate when bad. they hum. and then hum louder. and then sound like someone is making popcorn. and then you need a new axle/spindle and hub since it damned near welds on. (dont ask how I know that. )

i just replaced both my axles and now the driver side wheel bearing is making noise. It never made noise before the axles were replaced, go figure. Is there any particular brand of bearings that are better than the other? Here are some options i found on here:
