o2 simulators?

o2 simulators?

So i got the 707 code... now the car is a 97 se and the im using a 96 ECU se cuz i did a 5 speed swap... (yea its wired for a 96)

so where do u guys get the simulators from and which one should i get

Get it asap man. The EPA is cracking down on those manufacturing and selling these. The company (Baker Electronix) that I got mine from has abruptly stopped making them.

yea i know which one do i need to get.. like i said i need one for a 96 maxima se.... since im using that ecu..

O2 simulator won't work. You need to relocate a pin and ground a pin. Look through the FAQs. I did mine and it worked perfectly for 3 months rouphly 6k miles. Than it came back on. But I think its b/c the sensor is old. 165k miles.

ok would u people read please?? lol

the car is wired for a 96 mt ecu.. it has a 707.. i had it before when the car was AT..

so i need a sim for a 96.. which one is the correct one. i understand the voltage has to be 2.2v or someting..

yea. your sentence is vague. Read. LOL. Just replace it. I just did it today. Took me 10 minutes. Better than trying to splice those thin wires and solder them.

what kind of 02 sim am i supposed to use for a 96 se...??

the 95-96 ECU has a different pin from the 97-99 ECU for reading the voltage from the rear O2. Check into that.

^^^ I think he knows that and changed the pins already. OP you might have to do trial and error. Just order an O2 sim and see what happens.

hey toshi whats up, i already swapped pins over.. so the car is now running a 96 ecu.. wired correctly... for a 96 sensor

I don't know any o2sims that simulates 2.2V that the 96ECU are supposed to read. I know cattman makes o2sims and it simulates 1V
