aftermarket y pipe

for those of you who have an exhaust system + a budget y pipe. under throttle epecially under hard throttle after 4k do u get this like whistling or sound of air rushing thru rite under the shifter ??? at 1st i thought it was leaking air but its not there no exhaust leaks there.

is it normal to hear like whistling sort of noise when u have an aftermarket y pipe?

This topic has been addressed at least once a week since the year 2000. The sound you are getting is from the new flex section in your Y-pipe, and is common with an aftermarket Y-pipe, especially one like the Budget. Bee glad its not the bee's in the can sound everyone used to get.

Everyone is so freaking lazy now. Search is even free now to everyone. Lotta good that did. Just gimme the answer....

Get a better flex section. But it's always going to be louder and more noticable than stock.

I have the same issue with mine... It just too bad I had to discover this after buying... I even called LSS and they were like "I dunno" I went to an exhaust custom shop and evne the guy said it was the flex pipe too...
