Congrats...you did the David L mod.

Thought it was going to be a new mod for 95-96. Either way, they look good. Nice job.

I thought the David L's were made using the APC all-clears, and there was no source for those anymore?

Any clear coat will be fine as long as you put it on the same way you did the red. Be careful with the blacking out because the tint spray will run easy.

For the love of Jesus and his entire family, leave them the way they are. You managed to score a very rare item and by the pics finished it pretty well, but you should leave em' as is. Don't put night shades, it will look IMO.

if you wanted tinted tails you could have just tinted the oem ones. if you still want tinted tails, sell these to someone who needs them and buy 5 sets of oem lights and tint them.

PMOR I bought these in April with the intent to do what kelby did. I ended up opening them up and selling them to him opened. I gave him the red candy apple red paint to do them too. It was in the for sale for 4th gens long thread too.

Now that u did the David L mod and have your heart set on the blackened out lowers, just buy the vinyl tint and tint the from the outside. Don't spray the inside with night shades you'll ruin rare tails and if you ever decide on selling them, The buyer has the option of removing the film for the L mod. Good luck

BTW they look good!
