Long Term durability of eBay 1 pc headlights

Anybody here had their eBay black (R34?) 1 pc headlights for a while that can comment on long term durability?

Particularily, I am concerned about how well the outer clear plastic holds up against pitting and fogging/hazing as compared to the OEM units. Worse, same or better?

I intend to do a projector retrofit in these as my stock headlights look like boo boo.

Had my E-bay R34's for about 6 months...looking good still, rock chips are not noticiable. Fooging: none. Then again I guess it depends what manufacturer you get them from nowadays....so many of them make these lights.

My hunch is that there is only manufacturing company and a million vendors..... our cars are old. Most manufacturing companies wouldn't invest in us, IMO.

Back on topic. Had mine for about 6 months as well. Still look like the day I bought them.

I drive back and forth 45 mins to college 3 times a week... Mine still are clear as a whistle. And i have never done anything other than clean them w/regular car soap. Plus they've recently been in the oven... They are very good quality.

Good info I was thinking about purchasing a set as my first mod to the new Maxi. I just saw a set being offered already set up with 6000k HID's. Anyone have them and can provide some feedback before I pull the trigger?

^what he/she said; moreover, even thru rain, sleet, and now snow, no detectable marks or fade spots. still super clear.

For the price. It would be cheaper to get your own hid kit. I have the hid it with the r34's now.

They're all the same. Pick the ebay seller with the best price and best feedback. Done.
