Hello? my first post go easy.........

I have 98 SE manual. All stock. I am trying to figure out what is going on with my max. When I rev higher than 4k rpm blue smoke comes from tail pipe. I s this mean I am burning oil or something else?

Blue == oil.

Have you checked oil level?

I usually change it every 3k myself. Didn't seem to be low level at all. But I never rev over 3 k rpm. I shift at 2.5k.

blue=burning oil, black=usually to much fuel.. Your rings are probaly going bad.. If it's just a little smoke i would not worry to much.. Just keep a check on your oil level weekly.
