Dashboard Maintenance
Dashboard Maintenance
My Max '97 GXE is still in fine shape but I would like to know what is the popular product to clean the dashboard covering. I believe I have a vinyl product, but I am not sure. I also own an '89 Dodge Shadow that had a real ratty dashboard. It was dried out (but not cracking) and dull looking.
My son recommended using FORMULA 2000 SUPER PROTECTANT made by Turtle Wax. I used it on the Dodge dashboard and what a dramatic differance after using this product. The original color was restored and the appearance looked like new.
My question is: Has anyone used this product on their Max dashboard without being sorry for having done it, or is there a better dashboard cleaner out there designed for Max dashboard fabric?
All comments welcome.

Well...
To be honest the all work about the same. Just make sure to keep the dash moisturized and NEVER used Windex or an all purpose cleaner. Water can take off guck for you and then use the moisturizer/protecantant. I have always used Tanner's and it works great for my cars.
