lowering spring questions

ok so im about to buy new springs for the max. i just bought the 07 sensatrac front struts before i decided to get springs and still need to get the back struts. what would you recommend for springs and drop size. id like to keep it the safest possible for the car and myself. i know you need new struts but again, i got the fronts cause i needed it bad. would it be ok to just slap on some tokicos on the the back and forget the front struts since they are brand new???

No need to half *** it in the beginning. Get some nice struts meant for a drop, not OE-replacement.

hope you got the receipt for those struts, do a full research before buying. Those struts might be alright if you are getting Tein h-techs, but that is only a 1" drop.

Yeah, Monroes sensatrac wont last long with a drop. Might as well atleast get Tokico blues or KYB GR2's. Like Maxgtr said, you might be able to get away with the Tein H-Techs, maybe even the H&R springs.

Blues won't last long with anything past H-techs either. Do it right the first time: AGX or Illumina.

either way you have spent the money on the struts.. is the way i look at it.. so for right now you might as well just throw the springs on until your rear struts go out.. since you still have to replace those.. im not saying that the monroes are going to last forever or anything.. but they should last for sometime.. and by then hopefully you will have enough money saved up for a nice set of struts.. blues and the monroes are both a oem replacement.. and plenty of ppl have made the drop with blues.. goodluck with the drop.. and spring compressors are your friend

I am selling my Tein coilovers, I only had them in the car for 6 month. They are almost brand new. They would fit maximas from 1995 to 1999. If any one is interested please let me know. I pay $900 for them. Offers are welcome.
