Trouble shifting into gears, any ideas??

Well I have about 3000 miles on my Jim Wolf stage 1 clutch, and i am just now starting to really drive the car hard now, I wanted to be sure it was broken in right. The problem is when I go to shift into 2nd or 3rd at over 5500 Rpms, I cant get it to go into gear. For example when I try to hit 2nd at 6500, I try to shift down for 2nd and its like a wall is there, and I cant go to 2nd. I have to wait for the Rpms to drop. It goes into every gear smoothly any other time except when I really try to accelerate. Could it just be that its a new clutch??

is it just a certain gear that won't go in at certain rpms? like you can shift at 6550 rpms in every gear except 2?
then...
it must be the syncros

Yes it engages off the floor normally, and no its not just 2nd, its 2nd and 3rd gear when Im at high rpms that wont go into gear, I havent tried it for 4th or 5th. The problem was never there until I got the new clutch put in.

some possibilities..
faulty clutch disc
faulty fork and bearing not properly functioning
faulty pressure plate
pressure plate-flyweel bolts loose (not torqued to specs)

the last two would be the most likely culprits of the problem.
