Front Speaker Installation

This might be a dumb question but its beyond me right now. I purchased a set of Infinity component speakers and i've got the passenger door panel off and woofer and tweeter both removed. The problem is i dont know which wire goes to the crossover. I expected to see a nissan oem crossover which would split the signal between tweeter and woofer but i dont. Should i just be running the wire from the original woofer to the crossover and then split that off to the new woofer and tweeter? And is it safe to just tuck the crossover behind where the woofer goes?

Ahh im soo confused, i think all this work is getting to me....5 days of nonstop sound deadening can really make a man crazy.

I installed some infinity components a few months ago, the 6010CS. Sound great. but anyway, you're right. cut the wires that go to the woofer, and run those two to your infinity crossover. Then, run new wires from your crossover to the infinity woofer, and then another set from the crossover to the infinity tweeter. Wiring info if you need it:

Put the crossover wherever it fits. I ziptied it to part of the door. Wherever you put it, make sure that your window is able to go up and down freely before you reinstall your door panel.

I installed these last summer, they sound great. Anyways, the factory wires run to your crossover, from there one goes to the woofer the other to the tweeter. The place I used to put my crossover is on the metal bar going across inside the door(with panel off), the bottom sits on the bar with double sided foam tape on the back and bottom.
