so i just adjusted the IAVC....

i just did it so my rpms could be at 700 from 500..........it worked but now the intake hisses really loud. normal? i think so but 2nd opinion would be nice....besides its just more intimidating now

no the hissing goes away when the iavc is tightened more. but the rpms drop

when i tighten it the rpms drop. when i loosen they go to normal

you may have over adjusted the screw. what instructions did you use? you may also need to check your intake set-up. make sure everyhing is nice and tight.

i didnt save the instructions but i also used a lot of different sources. tightened all the way no intake noise at all...rpms dropped by 20 from 550. loosened and hissing came. checked rpm, 700 on the line, ran car, car ran better than ever just louder

i clean the filter and tighten bolts once a week. im putting on an apexi power intake filter tomorrow if it comes in the mail. right now its an ebay intake

when i put the intake on it hissed but not too loud which i kno is normal

oh wait i read wrong you just ADJUSTED the valve. i thought you cleaned it. ok hold on a sec... SEARCH FOR ADJUSTING IAVC you should find what you need.

ok so i just cleaned the throttle body and the rpms are running perfect. i opened up the iavc a little more and the rpms are stable. next i need to clean the iavc itself.

how much are gaskets for it?

Well, you could always call up an auto parts store and ask.
