3.5 VQswap cam spacers....and a few other?

Hey does anyone know where i can get a spacers for the cams for my 3.5 swap. Also what harness am i going to use for the swap am i using the 3.5 harness or just my 3.0 harness? If i have to use a 3.5 harness can i use an auto harness or does it have to be from a manual? Thanks in advance.

Jarod

It all depends what route you are going to take, but to clarify things, you could use either one...........Just for reference 3.5 auto/manual harness = same difference as far as the swap goes.........

Full swap or retaining 3.0 timing components.

In any case, there are hundreds of threads on this, including a detailed sticky in AM.

Which ECU are you planning on using?

If you use the VQ35 ECU, you will not need to use cam spacers. If you use the 4th gen ECU, you will need cam spacers.

yeah...if u use the cam spacers from what i under stand...u will be using the 3.0 timing assembly, thus getting rid of the vtech or what ever u want to call it in the vq35. that in hand makes it were u can use the 3.0 wiring harness and u pretty much just cut and splice the enjectors..and u run ur normal 3.0 ecu
thats what i have gotten from all the reading i have done anyways...and im awaiting my motor soon

i plan to run the 3.0 ECU thus the reasoning for me wanting the spacers from what i have read it is very dificult to run the 3.5 ecu it be DBW and the transponder and such.
