Questions about Custom Cefiro Headlights 95-99?

I was looking on this website by Depo Auto Lights and they have custom cefiro headlights for $385 with angel eyes. They use NTS projectors in them. My question is, what are the Pro's and Con's of the NTS projectors? Also, has anyone bought the custom cefiros from them and did you like them or not? For that price, would I come out better having the guy on here to custom do my cefiros with the E60-E55 projectors? I'm wanting to get the best for my money.

Best for your money would be a TL not a E-55. I dont know if the TL will fit in those lights but they are the best of the best. I plan to go to them soon .

Yeah let me know - thanks man. Maxgtr2000 does custom OEM headlights and cefiros with projectors and angel eyes. They look good on his page

I got an answer. First and foremost, there is no warranty on th headlights but they will fo a DOA exchange. For me that isnt good enough.

I asked for more pics and he didnt have that either.

Its not a stock item. He would build them after he gets an order.

Ill pass

Why do you feel the TL's are the best of the best? Is it because there BiXenon?
The factory lenses on them mess with there cutoffs. In order to have a really nice output they need there lenses swapped.
I still ike the S2k and the TSX projectors, there just not BiXenon.

The TL's outperform s2k and tsx hands down as far as output. The tsx is not even in the same ball park. The s2k is hands down the best single xenon projector far better than the tsx. If you want to you can read up on the Flava you know the site. And just a lil about the TL they dont have the best high beam the e55's do but the intesity and output arent the greatest.

I really would like to have my high & low beam since I'm going to spend the money to have HIDs with the custom cefiros. I'm wanting the best projectors for my money in the cefiros with high & low beam.

I have read up and seen the comparisons. Their output is nice but with the fresnel lenses the cutoff isnt very sharp, has a hot spot in the center and has nothing but yellows to it. Now with the zkw lens they look sick.
There width doesnt seem all that great neither with the factory lens.
TSX's have a much greater width in my opinion.
For a Bixenon setup, they are the best ones to use I guess. It seems that the ORG is really all about the TL's since they are Bixenons, but many members on HID planet actually seem to prefer the LS430 over the TL's as being the overall best projectors. But they arent BiXenon and are really big projectors.

It all comes down to personal preference i guess. In reality, with HID projectors I havent really needed a high beam. Compared to halogens my projectors are still brighter then my maxima's hi or low beams ever were.

Thanks kevlo. ALso look at the price difference in the ls also. Plus the ls utilizes a reflector and projector thats why it wider.

I believe that maxgtr2000 has done some hid projector swaps using the newer and better fitting R34 headlights.
pm him and see whats up.

those look way better and the fitment on the side is much improved. With the cefiros, you need some weather striping to fill the hole as they are not a perfect fit. Not the case with the r34's. From what I have read.

Honestly if you have the time and the will, try to do them your self. Get some heads from the FS threads. Search for the write up and have fun. I dont think that is something to spend money on.

You can google a site to buy them from. There might even be someone here trying to sell theirs or trade you for a pair. You gotta search

read sellers feedback. be careful. and i seller uses bidpay for payment. I personally dont buy unless they use paypal. You can get jerked. I like payapl because if anything goes wrong you can get your money back. i dont know if bidpay is the same way. i emailed him earlier today and asked for more pictures and the guy told me no. he doesnt have any of them. once you win the auction the build them.

Are the light bulbs for the r34 the same as OE? How's the lighting on the r34 chrome housing, not the black type? Are they brighter then stock? I ordered them yesterday and now want to know before hand.

The output on the r34 is less than great. They are ok but you will need to upgrade if you dont have fogs.

Are the output on custom cefiros with projectors worth all the hassle of having them customized?
