Bad sensor... Not sure which one

Bad sensor... Not sure which one

My pops took my car to get smogged checked and it failed because of a bad sensor. I was askin him which one(knock sensor, o2...) but he didn't know. Hes taking it to his mechanic and the guy says hes gonna fix it for about 200-300 bucks. I don't want to waste money and would be down to do it myself if its not too hard. This is my first car and don't really know jack about cars so I don't know whether i should let the mech. handle it or get the car back and do it myself.Whatchu think

First look for a code when u get it shop for a good price everywhere and if it s easy just repair it yourself u will save a lot of money and u will know better ur car.
