Timing Chain Tensioner

I have 153K on engine. What will happen if i do not change the tensioner? Anything catastrofic?

If i change it, is there a gasket that is used for the side cover?

No need to change it if it does not make noise. If the tensioner leaks oil and the car makes timing chain noise for many minutes, then it can't be good.

There is no gasket for the side cover, use some liquid sealant or RTV to make a bead. If possible, use a gasket ($10 or so) for the tensioner. This gasket fits between the tensioner and the mounting surface.
