what if i dont want stock fog lights?

about that 90% statement i was referring to those on this forum. i'd say its a pretty high percentage of 4th gen posters who do not ride on stock sawblades.
also, you cant honestly believe that the wheel gap looks fine, lol. its almost as bad as my girl's '02 Galant!

It looks fine. I've also demolished other cars on this suspension Does that mean I want to keep it that way and ENJOY how it looks? No way. Car is getting lowered this summer.

Coming from a Dodge forum before I landed here, we're ALL ricers... we drive Japanese cars. That's where the term comes from. However, it was extended to tiny little four cylinder cars that for some reason think they can take an American V-8 because they have a sticker that says "Type-R" on it or something and has watched The Fast and the Furious one too many times. Anyone that thinks that the rat can loud muffler makes their 4-6 cylinder car sounds good compared to the low grumble of a performance exhaust on a V-8, well...
That said, everyone has their own opinions on how something looks. Personally, I think the stock fogs look fine, but they definitely leave something to be desired in styling compared to other model cars. The taillights blow on ALL Maximas from 4th gen and up. Altezzas look good on some cars and not on others (Altimas look great and have stock altezzas, trucks in general look like crap with them). I'm personally torn between the stock, red/clears and black altezzas on the 4th gens... I personally think they *all* look cheap. Nissan is in serious need of taking a note from Honda and Toyota in rear design, with the exception of the Altima and Murano.

I did a search myself and found a bunch of threads that talked about it, but no really useful info except about a set that came from a now defuct company. I saw a few 97-99's that had aftermarket in the OEM cutouts that looks pretty good, but none of the 95-96's looked right with it because the cutouts aren't recessed. Only mounting location that looked fairly good to me were low profile rectangular with slightly rounded edges that mounted inside the air dam. Additionally, if you have an SE or GLE your car is already wired for fog lights, just splice in with your aftermarkets. If you have a GXE from 95-96 you likely do not have the wiring already there.

take a look at my car this is a old pic I will have a new one up when I get it back from the shot today... the front end will look much nicer then. I like the look of the fog's in instead of in the bumpers stock location.

Doesn't look too bad KJS2023.
The location I was referring to though was the air dam right above the one where you have yours mounted. That's the place was referring to for the thread starter. I think that the low profile rectangular ones with the slightly rounded corners would fit well there.

there is so much non-sense in this thread... i focused on the highlights:
self ownage?
because most people on here follow each other without having any real vision or skill.
there is a way to do aything. just because it hasn't been done doesn't mean it can't be.
that looks really aweful.

I know that's photoshopped, but looking at that, if it was actually one for on each side and it was cutout, glassed and fabbed like that, I think that is a *nice* look. Very clean without the front indicator light. Mod the corners to blink instead and that's classy! I bought this car to experiment with, so I might just give that a shot and see how it turns out.
But anyway, on second look KJS2023... The Knight Rider grill and license plate in the front and whatever that thing is in the middle... I wouldn't have it on my car. I think I was already a bit tipsy from a few drinks when I posted that yesterday.

i wouldn't fiber glass it. i would get a spare junk yard bumper to cut the filler pieces and use 2 part semi rigid plastic with glass mesh. its not hard to work with and will be as flexible/become part of the actual bumper. its not a hard project if you know what you are doing.
