New Body Kit for Cefiro/I30 found.

Here is a piccy of a full body kit I found for the 4th gen I30 / Cefiro. The cost is NZD $3850 whish is about USD $1660.

That price is what they quote as retail but Im sure I could talk them down on price.

Tell me what you think...

I like it. IMO- It looks classy. Fiberglass or urethane? Price is expensive, shipping is another issue... but it's appealing.

Won't fit the US I30.. unless

1. you can the front and the rear bumper to that style & need to get new fog lights, and new corner lights

or
2. if it's the whole bumper replacement like the Sarona kits.. then it will fit!

Well, the side skirts looks FAMILIER???

^____^

Yes I thought it was quite expensive too. There was 2 kits listed, one for 3400 and another for 3850.

Im not sure which one this is. I have just sent an email to them asking about group discounts and more piccys.

PS, this is the same place thats doing a twin turbo setup on a 4th gen soon and maybe turning it into a kit if theres demand.

The side skirts are similar to the Sarona Side skirts!

--> Look closely (check 97MaximaGurl's sig or look for photos of her car on the Woodbury meet photo threads)

they are not really too much like the sarona kit... they are much longer and the holes don't go into the side, the holes are into the back of the car towards the rear tire.

Do you understand...

Exactly how much it would cost to ship a body kit from NZ to the U.S.? My guess would be $300. And keep in mind that if its fiberglass it probably will break...but I shouldn't concern myself with these things...I have a Maxima and I don't even want a body kit! (Not that I could afford one if I did )

There is alot of interest for a gd for the i-30 kits. Check out the thread under group deals. We should be able to get 10-15 guys/gals interested provided the prices are reasonable.

Dude,
Piccy's is net talk for 'picture' commonly used in chat rooms, not some sort Australian Colloquial term. But I'll throw a shrimp on a BBQ for ya anyway, it's funny really we don't call them shrimps here we call them prawns and as far as cooking them on the BBQ I've never seen it except on that ad that you guys got with Paul Hogan.

Anyway back to busines there is another body kit beig offered through nissan dealerships here, it looks very simular to the Hawaiian I30 can't remember ya nick dude, it retails here for AUS$3000, which works out to US$1500, doesn't look ricey or cheap like the above, I hate those side skirts, all hyundai's here in Oz have those side skirts, anyway if anyone is interested in details i can contact the dealer and post the info here.

Haa.. Thats the same shop I bought my headers from! MZMTG told us about that kit a while ago. There site is www.prestigeauomotive.co.nz . I don't think they have pics on there site though, email Peter V. for pics. BTW shipping would probably run you more then $300, probably about $500.

I think the rear of that kit is nice but the front is nasty and the sides are sub par. There are a lot better kits out there for the I30.
Also like Simon said, you will need the front bumper if that kit is just a lip.

Thats like saying the United States is famous for it's Canadian salmon.

Thats interesting, I tried my dealer today and can get the normal OEM individual components from the factory options list ($$$, and little style) but not the Autech or similiar type kit. It would be great if you could follow up on this.

The kit in the pics NZMax posted looks very much like the Aerotech kit, but the price is heaps more expensive than what I was quoted ($500US w/out the rear wing).

And BTW...SLC, just playing above. No flame required.

It was a freaking movie...thats all. I didn't know Canada was known for their Salamon, and I'm now going to go stick my head in the sand ok?

Another stereotype then. The John West commercials shown here always depicted Canadian fisherman as having the world's best salmon, lol.

Just so I'm not totally OT, here's an I30 bodykit page

compared to the other kits we have seen...this one is definitely subpar to what's available. i don't like that "aggressive" look. i think it looks kind of ricey if you ask me...not for an I30. we need to keep it classy...

Watch out when you do that because it will be pretty close to the ground. When I had my old 18" rims on, the custom front lip was 2 1/2" off the ground. I had to raise my coilovers just to get it out of the body shop's driveway!
