Steering wheel upgrade replacement?

My '98 black SE steering wheel is starting to look and feel nasty. Are there any direct replacements as far as stock steering wheels go, with full functionality? Did some searching, but couldn't find anything relevant to what I'm looking for.

If it's just the rim, you can get a wheelskin.

Stock steering wheels can be found on ebay all the time, without the airbag of course.

The wheelskins actually look really good...surprisingly good. They actually look a lot better than they look on their site. I have one on my car. I'll grab a picture in the morning if i remember

Seems like my options are limited. Now I must find a '99 black steering wheel. If anyone finds anything, let me know. Thanks

4th gen to 5th gen = fail, therefore 4th gen to 350z = fail

I went with the wheelskins, makes the steering wheel slightly thicker, but it's 100x's better than a crappy slap on cover.

They feel nice, but sewing it on is a huge PITA. I took mine off because I just made it look sloppy

That Altima wheel is on par with a SE 97-99 wheel... but work is definately not worth it or the time, or the value in total. I made up my mind, I'll find a good condition 97-99, preferably '99 wheel and put that in. Done deal.

Do you even know how to take out a steering wheel? Remember I found that sweet as$ one at the junkyard and I ended up ruining it because I got frustrated at taking it off? I just started taking cracks at it with the hammer.

Yea, if you come by and peak inside my dead maxima you will see the HELL that's going on it there. Plus, just got some of those security bits; like T-40 to T-55, and a few others.
