anybody riding on GLE/GXE springs in their SE?
Just wondering what would the ride be like with 16" SE rims and GLE springs.
Basically i like how my 96 i30 soaks bumps and road imperfections without much feedback felt through the steering wheel. On the other hand my 97 Max SE with SE springs and Tokico blues rides good , but i would like to reduce the unwanted road feel and nervous feedback from the bumps in the road.
I'm riding with two kids in the back seat and i need plushy and comfy ride.

Two things
-why not just drive the I30 when you have the kids? Wife?
-struts are more of an indicator of how well your car will ride than springs (unless you have bottoming out problems, which you shouldn't with stock springs). Blues are pretty conservative, but stockers will be softer.

Front springs are the same between models, but not transmissions. The rears are stiffer on SE's. I have GXE rear springs for the winter setup. The ride is soft, too soft actually. With anyone in the back it bottoms out rather often. This could be more the shocks fault as their age is unknown.
